Privacy Policy
What personal data Plugins Radar collects, why we need it and what you can do about it. Effective October 5, 2026.
Who we are
Plugins Radar (pluginsradar.com, “we”) decides how the personal data described here is used, which makes us the controller under the GDPR. Write to hello@pluginsradar.com with any privacy question.
When you browse the site
You can read every public page without an account. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t follow you across other sites.
Cloudflare, our host, receives your IP address, browser details and the address of the page you open, so it can deliver the site and block attacks. It keeps these technical logs for up to 7 days. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
When you use the plugin search, your search text goes to our server to find matching plugins. We don’t store it with anything that identifies you, though it can appear in the technical logs above.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and doesn’t store your IP address.
When you create an account
- Email address. We use it to sign you in and to send the emails you ask for. Legal basis: providing the service you signed up for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Sign-in links. For each link we store a scrambled (hashed) copy of the link, the email it went to and a hashed copy of your IP address. The IP hash lets us limit how many links one visitor can request. We delete all of it after 24 hours. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- One cookie. The
pr_authcookie keeps you signed in for up to 180 days. The site needs it to know who you are, so we don’t ask for consent. Signing out deletes it. - Plugins you track and your alert settings. We store them to build your dashboard and send your alerts. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b).
- Emails we send. Sign-in links, and the alerts you turn on. Every alert email has a link to change or stop alerts.
Early-access requests
Before accounts opened, the “Request full access” form asked for an email address. With it we stored the page and section you came from and the dates of your requests. We use this only to tell you when access is ready, and we delete it after 12 months or sooner if you ask. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
If you make a plugin listed on the site
Plugin pages show what developers published in the public ChatGPT plugin directory: the plugin’s name, the developer or company name, its website and listing details. Next to that we show our own measurements, such as search positions, rankings and changes over time. When the developer is a person, their name is personal data.
We process it based on our legitimate interest in giving plugin makers and users an independent view of the directory (Art. 6(1)(f)). The source is the public ChatGPT plugin directory. You can object, or ask us to correct the details or hide your name, at hello@pluginsradar.com.
Service providers

Transfers outside the EU
Our database runs on Cloudflare servers in the United States. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and our agreement with Cloudflare includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
